Hi. I’m Aaron L. Miller.
Amplify Coaching & Consulting is the culmination of my entire career helping others find clarity and purpose in their professional lives.
I bring twenty-five years of exceptional experience leading, coaching, and teaching in universities, sports, and business. As a bilingual (Japanese and English) certified professional coach and a PhD in socio-cultural anthropology, I have helped leaders become executives, executives become more efficient leaders, and diverse teams realize their best chemistry.
In short, my work unleashes leaders and teams to do their very best work.
Over the years, I have learned how to balance big picture thinking with diving into the details. I have deep listening skills, an empathetic default setting, as well as robust training in different methods of coaching, which helps me meet my clients where they are and help them imagine the future in which they want to live.
I also know what it is like to both achieve my goals, and what it is like to struggle against various obstacles to achieve them. I can help you battle your inner critic, find your own answers, and forge your own true path ahead.

I have studied at the feet of, and written 4 books about, the worlds’ best sports coaches, two of whom have entered the National Basketball Hall of Fame and have coached their respective National Basketball Teams.
I hold honors degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles (BA) and the University of Oxford (MSc, PhD).
I undertook formal coach training at the Co-active Training Institute (CTI), the birthplace of the modern coaching profession, and have since developed my executive coaching chops at Randstad RiseSmart, a preeminent global coaching firm, and DPR Construction, an ENR top ten general contractor.
I am a Certified Professional Co-active Coach (CPCC) and an ICF (International Coach Federation) Associate Certified Coach (ACC).
I have successfully facilitated corporate workshops as a team building coach and have served as a cross-cultural consultant to Fortune 500 companies in the technology, automotive, and professional sports industries.
As a university professor, I have helped thousands of students achieve their goals and earn their degrees.
